Which vehicles are compatible with the Slap Pass magnets?
Most electric vehicles are compatible with Slap Pass clean air vehicle magnets. Exterior panels made of steel are magnetic while plastic and aluminum are not.
You can test if your vehicle is compatible by placing a magnet to your car exterior panels. Please test before purchasing Slap Pass clean air vehicle magnets.

Which vehicles are eligible for the California Clean Air Vehicle and New York Clean Pass programs?

How do I install my decals with the Slap Pass adhesive magnets?
Check to ensure that your car has steel magnetic panels where the sticker should be placed with the magnet.
Peel and apply Clean Air sticker to the matching side of SlapPass magnet.
Slap on your car and start driving in the HOV lane!
What is your return policy?
Refunds will be accepted within 30 days of purchase. Shipping paid by the purchaser and full reimbursement provided by the seller.
How should the magnets be applied to my vehicle?

Do the magnets stay applied at high speeds and in adverse conditions?
Slap Pass magnets have been tested on more than 5,000 miles in a variety of road conditions (sun, rain, snow) and at high speeds throughout California and the West. The magnets sit flush to the car exterior and stay affixed.
How should the magnets be stored?
Store flat and out of direct sunlight in a low humidity environment to maintain the integrity of the decal.
Which programs years are the magnets compatible with?
Slap Pass magnets are compatible with 2018-2023 stickers. Be sure to select the right magnet set and contact us with any questions!
Where do I place the decals on my vehicle?
Large and small decals have specific placement on your vehicle in compliance with program guidelines.
Large decals: Place one decal on each side of the vehicle, on the rear quarter panels behind the wheel wells, with the state seal pointed up.
Small decals: Place decals on the right side of both front and rear bumpers (or bumper area) with the state seal pointed up.

How do I apply for the CA Clean Air Vehicle Program?
First visit the California Air Resources Board (CARB) website to find out whether your vehicle is eligible.
Complete the Application for Clean Air Vehicle Decal (REG 1000) form.
Send the completed application and appropriate fee to the address on the form.
How can I apply for replacement California clean air stickers to use with Slap Pass magnets?
Complete an Application for Clean Air Vehicle Decal (REG 1000) form.
Check the “Replacement Decals” and/or “Replacement ID Card” box (as applicable), and check the appropriate reason box in Section 2.
Mail to the address listed on the application. There is a $22 fee for replacement decals (check or money order).

How do I apply for the New York Clean Pass Program?
You must have a vehicle that qualifies with a valid NY State registration (you cannot apply if you have a temporary registration issued by an automobile dealer).
You cannot apply for the Clean Pass vehicle stickers at a DMV office.
There is no fee for the stickers. Your Clean Pass vehicle stickers will arrive by mail within 10 days.
How to I safely remove my existing stickers?
Removing decals from your vehicle can leave behind a glue residue or worse yet strip your paint.

Do the magnets work with a wrap?
Yes, the magnets still work on a PPF wrapped car.
You can purchase the magnets and place them on your wrapped car without the stickers to test drive them. If they don't stay on, return them and Ill issue you a full refund. (Hint: you won't need to)
